The Lahore Literary Festival debuted with a two-day program on Feb. 23, 2013. Chief Minister of the Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif, inaugurated LLF 2013, and some 30,000 people attended the free, open-to-public event. The debut edition featured over 60 local and foreign panelists.
LLF 2014 took place Feb. 21, 22 and 23, 2014. With over 100 delegates from eight countries, the three-day program attracted some 50,000 people to the festival, which also featured memorable performances from, among others, the Sachal Orchestra.
Bookstalls, book signings and launches, food stalls, and art exhibitions were featured at both LLF 2013 and LLF 2014. Both editions took place at the Alhamra Arts Center, Mall Road.
Video recordings of select sessions from LLF 2013 and LLF 2014 and LLF merchandise will be available for sale at this year’s LLF 2015.
