LLF 2023

The annual LLF will take place February 24-26, 2023 at Alhamra Art Centre, Mall Road, Lahore.

The festival is a free and open event. Marking our 10th anniversary, we will showcase writing and thought from Pakistan and abroad through over 60 sessions (comprising panel discussions and conversations); performances; screenings; and art exhibitions.

Pakistan’s acclaimed contemporary writer, Mohsin Hamid, will launch in Lahore his latest novel, The Last White Man. 2021 Booker prizewinner Damon Galgut and Shehan Karinatilaka, whose novel The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida was shortlisted for the Booker Prize 2022, will also be amongst the major names featuring in the festival, as well as Pakistani artists Adeela Suleman and Wardha Shabbir.

The festival annually celebrates, produces and archives provocative dialogues and insights from some of the brightest minds of Pakistan and elsewhere.

We are proud of continued partnerships over the years with, to note just a few major partners, the DAWN Media Group, Serena Hotels, EU, British Council, Alliance Francaise, Goethe Institut, and AG.
