After four successful editions of the Lahore Literary Festival in Pakistan’s cultural capital, LLF became the first Pakistani literary festival to go global in 2016, with ticketed events in New York and London.
The New York edition, co-presented with Asia Society, is part of the Creative Voices of Muslim Asia initiative, which uses the arts as a springboard to understand the diversity of Islam as a creative inspiration. The London edition, staged at the British Library, has featured a diverse array of local and foreign panelists, including Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai.
